Owwwwww

I've got one of the coaches and they are very good models. Somewhat dubious of the scale of the garbage disposal truck. Their measurements equate to something 5ft wide 16ft long and 7ft tall. The Norfolk County Council example that pulled up outside this morning was significantly bigger than that! My calculations suggest a scale of around 1:40 to be more accurate.

They are very detailed inside - I have the Hants & Dorset. Really good models. Easy to damage the outside though (side lights, mirror, and window rain shields) I now seem to be missing some of them items - mind you, with fingers like a bunch of bananas, what should I expect?).

Ah, the Bedford bus. Our outfit had reputedly the largest fleet of Bedford buses in the world, some 1200.
I spent some time testing these to destruction.... I failed.
Recently showed the bus nutters group how to hot wire one to get it going (just in case they lost the key, you understand).
Nice model(s), but sadly, all ours had locally built bodies, very different to the British style.

The Crosville bus caught my eye, back in the 70's in my police days we had a break about 3 in the morning for a game of snooker at the Flint Crosville garage. In winter every bus there - 40ish?? - had their engines running most of the night with a night watchman tending them. Days long gone......

I only have 3 single deck ones...
Mmmmm

Good grief, did Mike just use the word 'only'? You know what's going to happen next.

Yes..jenny snatched my bank card

Dam...I haven't got them either yet

A woman with a pair of silver Bedfords to adorn her ears? Just where is she going to get the matching ring, necklace and bracelet then (although having Mikes plastic, purchasing won't be a problem). >:)
