This is for Rob.
I have converted two LGB railbuses to battery power. One is the Pig Snout, the other is the square end. I also have included photos of an LGB trolley that I converted to battery power. All three vehicles use G Scale Graphics components. I am very pleased with their operation.
I am having some difficulty uploading the rest of the pictures. :crying:

OK. What we have here are photos of the battery and the G Scale Graphics Enhansed Critter module, along with the speed switch, which is the roundish circuit board under the roof. The square circuit board is the on/off/ battery conversion module. I have mounted another toggle switch which is the blue one with the red handle, to control the LED lights inside the bus. The lights are wired directly to the battery so they will remain on when the bus comes to a stop.
G Scale Graphics info can be seen here; http://1stclass.mylargescale.com/DelTapparo/gscalegraphics_1_011.htm

Here is the trolley conversion. The battery is located in the driver's cabin. The battery conversion module and the rotating speed switch are also mounted in the driver's cabin on the ceiling. The toggle and rotating switches protrude through the roof. The Enhansed Critter control is mounted on the ceiling of the passenger compartment. It's the picture with all of the glare, so I'm not sure how well you can make it out.
I also have the LED lighting configured for constant on. The switch cannot be seen in these photos but is mounted under the steps to the driver's cabin.

Dan, thanks for the information.
When I do eventually get to see the bus in question, I expect the owner to want the battery pack hidden somewhere.
There will probably not be an need for track power, so the pickups will be removed.
