hi folks so i was talking to

any he suggested i post this i got ripped on a Connie 2-8-0 swap on Facebook recent;y .i traded some on30 for the Connie,,when it arrived by mail,,the headlight .firebox door and many other items where missing ,,would anyone on here have any spare pars please.

I would be more worried that the thing actually runs OK.
At one stage it will probably need to have the main axle drive gear replaced. If not the whole gearbox.
Plus check out the side frames on the tender trucks. They tend to snap off by ripping out the screws holding them together.

With the exception of the 2nd versions of the Climax, Shay & Lyn and the C19, all of the Bachmann Spektrum locos have something wrong with them.

Might I suggest you peruse Garden Railway Specialists 16mm narrow gauge and gauge 3 1:22.5 parts GRS Kit Accessories | Garden Railway Specialists Tel:01844 345158, mostly white metal. OK, it's UK outline but there is stuff there that could be adapted to suit. These people too, Ozark, 1:20.3 Details & G Scale Details again mostly white metal. Max

I had a similar problem when I repaired mine but found usually the full assemblies sell out but individual bits are available.

Headlight assembly is sold out but the individual headlight parts are available as is the firebox door if that is any help.

Might just have to sort through the 183 products or look at other Bachmann locos to see if there are parts that are common or could fit.

Ah, the Bachmann estore website is a bit user unfriendly - it looks as if you have viewed all the pages, but keep trying for more

The firebox door link above will also need the handle that locks it shut.
These small parts can be fabricated in polystyrene with a sharp hobby knife if sourcing them is difficult or not cost effective.
If you want some close up pictures with ruler, I can do.
