It's Christmas time ! Having a little clear out of items that no longer "fit" with my line. More listings to follow over the next few days - A couple of locos, a caboose, an Annie chassis, a "suite" of detailing parts to help you produce an interesting steam outline loco and other sundry parts.

For sale #81094N Anniversary 4-6-0 tender loco RGS livery £175 + shipping £20 (Royal Mail Parcelforce 48) Payment by PayPal/cheque accepted or cash only if collected. I am based in the North Bucks/Oxon/Northants borders area.

Item is complete and undamaged with all original parts - crew, alt' couplings (see note below), manuals and packaging. It's the one with the all metal motions and valve gear, if anybody had forgotten :) Including outer shock resistant foam padded transit case and inner plastic wrapper, to avoid loco being damaged by shocks and paintwork being scuffed by styrofoam packing case inner while in transit. All as supplied when new. Like most of my roster this loco is genuinely little used. Sound and smoke unit fully functioning when tested.

Loco supplied new to me by Garden Railway Specialists in 2006. The loco has had an alternative, and correct, Kadee coupler set fitted - #791/831. This means the loco has functioning couplers both front and rear, at Fn3 NMRA height, so that it can couple to Bachmann Spectrum and Accucraft AMS Fn3 scale stock and other locos. The original knuckle and hook and loop couplers are included and can be refitted to allow coupling to conventional "Big Hauler" and other stock.

If you require any further information on this item please feel free to PM me. Max

SOLD - Subject to the usuals

Hello Max!

Nice loco (s) Have you already sold it? If not can you ship to Sweden? (Yesterday night I was outbidded on Ebay of a B-mann 2-8-0 but this did'nt work and was a RC under rebuilding (?) I have bought some G-scale from England earlier, some track and XL freightcars.

Best regards
Claes

I still have it, no desperation to sell. If the price is right it goes, if not I'll keep it. The packing makes it suitable for export shipping - All original packaging and internal packing, styrofoam bolsters and plastic wrappers are present, and the the plain cardboard outer packing case with all foam inserts is complete to provide additional protection from shocks. That's the way I've had other Bachmann locos (not this one) shipped from the USA. No problems so far with that. I would have to use a Royal Mail Parcelforce service as DHL/UPS/Fed-Ex is not available to us mere mortals in the UK :). How would you make payment, direct bank transfer ? Max

Thanks! I enjoyed the video of your layout very much. Here in Sweden there are few advertisements on g-scale and 1 gauge as well. I saw an "Annie" loco like yours last week on the Dutch Ebay for some 150 € with 'buy it now label' but it was gone after a few days though it looked like a christmas tree in its red and green and yellow paint. Yours is far better in condition and paint. Then I recalled that this forum also has a sell and buy section. I have bought a G-scale loco from the States but the shipping COSTs are far to high because you have to pay customs too. But (Last year I bought tender loco from Germany from a private seller and the freight was only 10 € , it came in a big parcel with the heavy loco wrapped in an old garden chair pillow !!, not every one have professional packaging like yours. I can pay with Paypal in the end of this week if it's ok for you. Please check what the shipping payment might be. /Claes

I'll get it weighed and price the shipping tomorrow (at published rates). Parcelforce is not cheap though. I'm not sure who their "partner" is in Sweden, probably your state postal service. As a fellow member (for the time being) of the EC you should not need to pay any swingeing tax levies on this. Max
