Aristocraft vs LGB tracks

I am aware of the longer version but couldn't see their use unless to hold a few millimetre long offcut of rail to close a gap where adjacent lengths of rail are just too short to meet?
I found that the longer ones were ok on straight sections of LGB Track, but on curves I needed the shorter ones! Why that should be I know not, would have thought that the ends on LGB Track would have been the same.

I have never noticed the screws rusting - I assumed they were stainless in the first place?

The pan head screws used to keep the plastic tie strip connect to the rails will rust. When I still used track power I ran out of the tiny allen head screws meant for the rail joiners, so I had some of those pan head screws and used them in the joiners. They rusted. I suspect that Aristocraft may not have cared that these screws would rust, since they were underneath the track and would never be seen again.

Yeah, but, I tend to use them one or two at a time. What a faff.

Nah, go for the whole lot. Why be stingy about how many of those microscopic screws you loose. Come to think of it, you could replace some of the screws you've lost yourself, playing with your screws.....:rofl:

I did Greg, my local nut and bolt shop owner glanced at the aristo sample and knew exactly what I needed, ditto the clamp bolts.

I now have a bag of aristo bolts if anybody wants them.........

Safely received - many thanks Kim.
