Aristocraft Rail Joiners

Did you run out of the extras stuck in the red wax on the underside of one tie on every piece of Aristo sectional track?

2mm cap screws..
Yes I did. However, there are a variety of M2 screws with different socket sizes and I would like to use the original size and tools.

I bought some off the Internet (ebay) but cannot remember the seller and a trawl of my "History" didn't show anything (too long ago!).

Here's a link to an ebay seller which might be what you want. You could order 10 as a sample (just to verify that they are the right ones) at a small cost & free postage?

M1.6 - M4 A2 STAINLESS STEEL ALLEN BOLTS Socket Cap Screws Hex Head DIN 912 | eBay
Thanks for that. I got some of a chap named Martin whose eBay name is boltbase. He sells 30 for £3.75.

The USA Trains and Bachmann brass track use the same screws and joiners so you should be able to find a dealers with some if you call around.

Aah yes. But the Bachmann pack I bought was a disappointment. Half the screws were twice the length of the original Aristos so useless, I still have all of them!

Try GRS they stock USA Trains and they are the same as I've mixed USAT and Aristo track.

Strange about the Bachmann screws though as if they don't fit the Aristo track they will not fit the Bachmann either as the rails are all made in the same Chinese factory!

To be honest though unless you are joining several short lengths together on a bench it is better to junk the Aristo joiners and use rail clamps instead.

Bought these recently, need a smaller hex head than the aristo driver.
