Any recommendation on the type/make of servo for 45mm track points. Thanks
HI Phil. UK climate, so, will get everything. Wasn't sure if a small 9g servo was man enough. All will be in a water-tight container & off the ground with a cover/box/building.Not really, but what is your climate like?
I would advocate, mounting the servo 'in the air', with the linkage Downwards.. Also, cover it with a 'lineside structure'. - Cabinet, or hut, but with enough room for air to circulate, a little..

I got some lock & lock boxes "Like Tupperware" that are just the right size for everything & seal well. I can easily disguise these as a stone/rock very cheaply.I am trying a small 'cabinet' type cover..
The idea is to keep the servo dry (ish) and allow air to circulate..
So far, a 3D print has 'warped' and one made from (admittedly black) plasticard, has had the glued-joints fail..
I am thinking of trying a cast resin unit.. This might be a rabbit-hutch, initially!
Just to prove the concept..

If they are clear a spray with UV spray or matt black should enhance their life.I got some lock & lock boxes "Like Tupperware" that are just the right size for everything & seal well. I can easily disguise these as a stone/rock very cheaply.
