Andel Models - still going??

Does anyone have any information on Andel Models?
andelmodels.co.uk no longer exists.. There is a (modest) attempt at a FacileBook page, but again nothing since 2014 by the looks..

Hi Phil. there was some discussion about this on the 16mm FB Group Page recently. Andel is apparently no longer trading unfortunately.

Not sure what went wrong exactly as there was no info in that respect on the postings I saw.

Real pity, his kits were superb.

I saw something (whilst looking for info) that many of the kits were Polyurethane??
Could be, I suppose? - I bought a 'pre-loved' item at G-Rail..



The green 'speckley' material is very brittle..
I do not have the rest, unfortunately. - Does run though.

Though it might be easier to just cut it down to an open cab..
The back is loose, and the internal surface has a texture almost like the back of hardboard..

Problem is.. I am very good at breaking things down .. .. .. .. .. 'nough said?

Polyurethane is a type of resin - so it's a resin model.

Hi Phil, from what I recall they ceased trading due to health problems, the kits were very good and I still have some bits from kits which were altered. I will PM you if I can find any thing which looks likely for repair to your loco. David
