Brilliant Gareth are we having working table lamps

Oh and is that your Pinkberry :rolf:

Have been giving working table lamps a thought mate. Not made up my mind yet.

Pinkberry is of course wifey's. I have the butch black one.

Had a late finish from work so didn't get much done on the Coach last night.

Added support legs to the single seating tables, and door handle and hinges to the side access door (sorry the piccy is a bit pants).

I was then ready to prime the seats and tables, but I wanted to leave the supporting legs in their native brass finish so needed to mask them off. Masking tape would have been far too fiddly so here's the idea that I came up with.

I raided my electrical bits box for some earth sheathing......

Snipped off the lengths that I needed to cover the supporting legs.....

and popped them over the brass "legs".

both sets of seats/tables now "masked up" ready for primer.

And that's as far as I got yesterday. It was getting late and wifey was beginning to forget what I looked like, so I'll save the spraying up for another day.

Excellent job so far ! Any plans for the under side, water/gas tanks & so on ?
Cheers Garry

OK so a bit more progress made during the past few days. Bodywork now sprayed up inside and out, lining applied today. Seating is still in primer at the moment but will be top coating that during the next few days.

I think you should send it back to China so they can copy it, then we can have some...

Excellent bash.

Munchies? Or the other one opposite civic centre that used oval plates and I can't remember the name of?....

So a bit more work done during the past couple of nights. The sliding door at the "Kitchen" end has now had the window aperture filled in. Basically done with plasticard and isopon.

Piccy shows none modified door on the left (apart from respraying), modified one on the right

Managed to get the seating and tables painted up too. I wanted the tables a slighter darker colour than the seats, but I'd already made and assembled the tables, so some major masking off was required, but I'm pretty pleased with the end result.

Body re-assembled. Still got the door on the dividing partition to do and I want to do some mods to the roof, but it's nearly there now.

I'll get some piccies done in dayllight at the weekend when it's all back together.
