Seriously impressed.
Remind me, what's Ruritainia's national dish and is it served in the new carriage?

Black pudding in mustard sauce with a side dish of pork scratchings. Pickled red cabbage is optional but considered desirable by those in fashionable circles, the French ambassador naturally excepted.

Ruritanian Railways is keenly interested in viewing this new and delightfully appointed vehicle from our friends from the north. Watch this space!

That's the only rake I'd like on my lawn! Bute job. Impressed (and covetous!).

Wonderful job throughout Gareth...it almost makes me want to have a European rake running on me yank layout.
They look really classy.

Many thanks for the kind comments folks.

Just not happy with that side entry door at the mo. Problem with working under artificial light is I didn't spot the colour mis-match until I got it outside for the piccies.

Think I may redo the door and make it fit more flush with the bodywork too.

Absolutely great- and setting the vehicle in the rake just emphasises the quality of all of these conversions. What next, I wonder?

Make some more and flog them in red boxes??? Excellent job.

I was fooled for quite a while on Saturday looking at some of these "TB" marked coaches on KGR's stand at the Teynham show and thinking "Must be second-hand and someone's put them in LGB boxes?"! I was still expecting them to be in blue Amax style boxes, not seen this "Complete Train System" style packaging before. It wasn't until I looked closely that I twigged.

Still think they seem good value for money, just hoping Amax decide to bring out some US style stuff.

Worth spending that bit extra IMO and go for the gourmet version - a pork pie garnish stuck in the top. Mmmmmmmmmmmm :admire::admire::admire::admire:
