I recently acquired an LGB 0-6-0 chassis to form the bais for a tender 0-6-0.

One question please - the funnel arrangement that looks to be atop the gearbox (see pic) - what purpose does it serve, and could it be removed flush with the top of the chassis without doing any harm ?

Hi Folks (again). In the above pikkie (and, luckily, on the model) there's three wires sprouting from the top of the motor assembly. Green, brwon and white. Are two of them pick-up wires, and if so, what's the third please ?

Thanks

White is the common for both track and motor on one side of the loco. On the other, brown goes to the track, green to the motor.

Nice 3-pin Mallet block, by the way!
