I have put these aside for a few days as I have been a bit wobbly,
the next part of the project will see detail parts added and finishing and I will have a go at weathering, after seeing what RJR has done in a short time ,and others on the forums, I think I should go all the way
I need to fill in the edges wiv some styrene rod as the side grills are .5mm narrow, the pics just show them pushed in temp, I got to take the carbodies off again to fit the fans back in, but I dont think the smoke units will work again, sothe fans will not get wired up, I need somepics of the inside of these now as you can see right thro and cant find one of the engine blocks,
I got around to a first caot of paint to the fan grills today,
this shows the fine detail better and what the fan blade looks like,, looking for a way to slow the fan motors down anyone any ideas?
Not a lot been happenning with these lately , I got them working again after the fire , last week I got some decals, but only enuff for three units,
I wanted Cigar band final years so the paint shops economy design is evident,
The plain paint scheme is compared to a full freight scheme on F3,
I still have a lot to do yet windows and handrails by the shed load and finishing the grill trims
