I've built a PDF kit. Although they are very well made, I had trouble with the gears. They stripped within minutes of use. To be fair, these were very promptly replaced with upgraded gears, and I've had no trouble since. The superstructure is clear plastic and needs to be welded with solvent as opposed to sticking. The 3D printed parts are very well produced and minimal cleaning up/filling required. The chassis are bolted together, so easy to get square. Yo do need to add a fair amount of weight underneath though as they are very light, even with the 2 AA batteries. All in all, worth a punt, as long as you remember that it is a cheap kit, rather than a highly detailed top of the range job.

Well, you're not actually born with modelling skills, so practice makes perfect. It is fairly straightforward, you just need to take your time with the rubbing down, and getting the quartering right, but easy enough. And, of course, in the expensive world of our hobby, reasonably cheap, so a good start for practicing
