The compensation on Tracked 24 & 48 has been reduced..Just ordered one of these from a well know kit supplier, however a little shocked at the check-out to find p&p was £12.00. As Mrs B said it is Christmas.
Will let you know how it goes, should keep me quiet during the cold wet days when I am not fishing![]()
Yes, I agree, so if I get it by 1 pm tomorrow, or even Monday, not bad value. But last time I used this trader it took 5 days, not even 48 hr tracked, which is £3.50! and the invoice says "Standard Delivery (3-5 business days)"!!The compensation on Tracked 24 & 48 has been reduced..
Guaranteed by 1pm,has £750 compensation for a parcel up to 1kg for £11.25.
So 75p for packaging costs, seems reasonable, through the eyes of a trader..

That probably means they're using Tracked 24 and that they know, from experience, it'll rarely be delivered on time.and the invoice says "Standard Delivery (3-5 business days)"!!
To be fair...That probably means they're using Tracked 24 and that they know, from experience, it'll rarely be delivered on time.

When it comes....Nice, no pictures though
Yep, the receiving ends vary, as @casey jones snr and I frequently moanTo be fair...
I find T24 to be quite reliable for the size packages I tend to send out..
A5-ish padded envelopes or 6x4x2 (inches) boxes..
If I am sending a loco-sized package, it goes guaranteed, to get the cover..

Of course they be good. They'm in Devon in'em.A good place to buy from, Andy(?) is a decent chap
One of IP's ? Have built quite a few of their Darjeeling kits. Be thankfull they don't use Evri to save on postage or aren't available through Amazon (deliver free to my village piston office !). My local postie even knows where to find me when I'm not at home (!) Now that's what I call service.Late update, the kit arrived on Thursday, seven days after ordering it, postage was just over that £5.00, less than half of what I paid, in a used jiffy bag, and the kit come in a plastic bag. Been busy, so it has not been opened yet, but when I do and start the build I will keep you informed.
