I have been working on a 7/8ths 3D printed steam donkey. So far it's looking pretty nice.steam D 1.jpgsteam D 2.jpgsteam D 3.jpgsteam D 4.jpgsteam D 5.jpg

I think "pretty nice" is very much an understatement.

En bon français (metric system): 7/8" to the foot scale is 1:13.7 Scale. It's a very good job, too large for a classic G Gauge garden layout.
Best regards - Gérard.

At some point I will be offering this model in 1:20.3 / 16mm as I have had many requests for it.

IMO 1/20.3 so the way to go. I'm not aware that machinery like this ever made it's way to UK, and again, there are no 16mm scale lumber operations that might use such a mighty source of power. Line-lumbering did not happen in UK - the trees are just not big enough. Can anybody justify having one on their 16mm layout? Probably not, but it would be a great talking point anyhow.

That's really sweet. Well done.
Are you using resin printing. The parts look really smooth?

Are you going to share it online... Thingiverse, TinkerCAD-Gallery?
I'd like to try and scale it down in the slicer and use it on my 45mm bush tramway.

Cheers
Rob
