Hello all,

Not sure why it took me so long to find this forum, but I've been doing live steam for about 10 years. Just recently got the 'bug' for adding a G-scale Baldwin Sharknose in PRR livery. (I can still recall seeing them in passenger service while quite young) While doing some web-walking, I came across this site...and here I am !

Okay...time to do some wandering through the forum here....

-tnx,
Jeff

To coin an old phrase:
"My Yin and my Yang have both gone twang....."

Anyway, better a YANG than a FUNG......

Have fun on here - you've probably already noticed that we don't exactly take things too seriously (well, most of us don't anyway) but in between all the juvenile humour you'll find plenty of real and sometimes useful information.

Welcome Jeff. You'll get a lot of advice here, also a lot of obscure humour.

Hi Jeff,

Welcome to you!

Unlike you I am a true NEWBIE to this tribe. At the age of 67 I decided to get on my engine and ride! I bought a Shay that I just love. I found an LGB Mallet I'm getting later next month, and I found a guy with track and some cars and switches all for $500 bucks!
It's snowing where I am right now, so I'll begin building my railroad empire in the spring.
These guys, in my brief experience are pretty golden. So, enjoy.
