Here's the latest little short film shot and edited by my young lad, featuring our LGB Mikado and a brief apearance by Bachmann Mallet which was smoking really nicely!

Really must get him a proper video camera to use - 320x240 resolution on a digital stills camera doesn't really cut it these days!

For those who didn't see part 1 with our Playmobil ballast train from last year, it's here

Nice one Nick.

If you want a cheap HD camcorder try the Foehn and Hirsch one.
They can be got for under £20.
I got mine from Ebuyer £25 with a 4Gb micro SD.

Resulting video....

Yeah, seen the thread about these. Tempting. I presume it doesn't have a zoom, but for that price I'm not so bothered.

Nice vid Nick, a credit to your son....

Not a new video, but.... FINALLY decided the weather and the ground were both dry enough to clean the track and fire up the WSL today, for the first time since last November.

Pleased to say only found one minor niggle, a loose wire on a point decoder. Other than that it was 100% functional after a good going over with the faithful LGB track rubber on a pole. Yay!

Son and Heir took the opportunity to dig out far more stock than I'd intended for what was supposed to be just a quick test!
