I've seen this version listed twice for sale on Ebay and Trainz, in several photo stories in LGB publications from Europe where these were purchased, but the seller I talked to, didn't know when they were made as they didn't have the LGB gold sticker on the bottom of the car frame. He purchased them from an estate sale in Germany several years ago. l have gone thru the LGB 1968-2009 catalogs, many of which are no longer available for download and the complete online search function at LGB/Marklin. The features on this car would seem to date it around 2000-2006 as catalog numbers for the existing cars range from 45570-47571. I have the original KUONI cat #45570 dated 2002, the later one from 2012 is #47571. Many of LGB freight cars had the big red plug on the brake platform during these years. The unusual features on this car in question are the white end caps, silver flooring and lack of the edelweiss flower on the sides along with the black frame. I just wanted to be able to authenticate this car although I've never seen a prototype car on YouTube RhB videos marked like this. Included photos are the 45570 (2002) Kuoni, next is 47571 (2012) version and last is the 45570 (unknown date) version. Thanks for any leads you might have.

Your message is a little hard to follow as there are no photos displaying, but AFAIK LGB have only manufactured two wagons carrying Kuoni livery.

45570 - RhB Schiebewandwagen Haik-v "Kuoni Transporte", road number 5133 (circa 2002)

40081 - RhB Güterwagen Gak-v "Kuoni Transporte", road number 5420 (circa 2014)

A 47571 was listed in the 2012 new items but it is unclear if any were ever produced.... I have certainly never seen any mention of the model anywhere but in the new product announcements by LGB and some dealers.

This is supposedly the RhB car that the 47571 model was supposed to represent.....

I understand that Kiss also made a IIm Schiebewandwagen Haik-v "Kuoni Transporte", but I have no details on that.

Well.......I posted 3 photos of the KUONI cars and looked at them several times. Wonder where they are hiding? I've never seen the 2012 car come up for sale anywhere, so bet you are right. The wood frame car was a LGB Club car as I understand. Maybe the LGB Club car #5164 w/ refrigeration took this KUONI car's place? Guess I didn't hit the insert button.

I suspect this is the limited edition KMS repaints that have been done over the years (like the recent VOLG cars)... 50 units or so produced.
You can see it here:

Also - a little bit about both models from spur-g-news:

I have one of the 47571 wagons (with the ‘märklin’ sticker), which I purchased on eBay.de in November 2012, so they definitely exist.

Three of my friends have the Kuoni wagons - they are all keen on RhB stock.

Thanks, but I know the LGB part number for the 2012 version. #47571. I'm looking for info on the one we are discussing with the edelweiss flower logo missing on the door. It was produced perhaps in the mid 2000's? I've added a photo of the unknown box car to my initial post above. thanks, D
