Blimey! Just when you thought the postal service had gone belly-up.
I only posted it late yesterday afternoon!
Ah but this is top priority merchandise

Re:Round Robin boxcar

Check the box is not empty......................................:bleh:

Right, as the Round robin box car has lost its way, I have created this thread to detail its route and its upcomming itinerary.

The original http://www.gscalecentral.net/g-scale-pictures/round-robin-boxcar/ < Link To Round Robin thread should be used for pictures of its travels only and I will be REMOVING all non essential posts.

Future destinations....
I have added the names of members who have expressed an interest in the original thread (they are in no particular order).

Europe
coyote97 (Germany)

// ROW
JRinTawa (NZ)

anyone else....PM me.

who's next on the list? I really want it to go to as many places as possable. If anybody else in the UK wants it send it there but please remember to try and pass it on within a week or two!

any one else in uk want it after me? or I will send it out the country?

The offer of a coach to go round the country is still on, if anyone wants to start it off?

List and thread updated.

If it leaves the UK then SGR would be the best choice (Spain) due to his line closure in June.

I will happily ship it to overseas when the time comes.

Maybe it should have another day out at the GSS show next week? I would be happy to display it on the GRO stand.

Northern Europe is currently under snow and could stay that way until after Easter. Send it somewhere warm and comfy so I'm out for the next month or so. :crying:

Thats a grest idea mark a final uk public apperance (possiable a group shot at 1 o'clock with the van and all its tempory owners) and maybe a little poster mentioning the world of G-Scale not just a few people in the Uk

For all those people who offered to send me higher quality images of the boxcar, I have set up a temporary email address you can send them to......

I think there is a limit of 20MB per email.

Thanks.

It could also 'feature' on the NW GScale Coal valley Mining layout at Stafford.
Mark I will hunt out some higher res' shots.

Hmmm! That @ddress has fired it straight back. I was nowhere near 20,mb either???

I'll try again as two emails.

Done as two, both less than 8mb, and they've both come back as well.

Mine said "file too large" so sent them singly.

Sorry about that.....

Very strange.....

I've removed any "supposed" limit at my end.

you could always try "s a l e s @ g a r d e n r a i l o u t l e t . c o . u k"

Regards
Mark

Box car left kent on UPS overnight to Muns for the show.

Cheers Ian,

I was wondering if it would get here in time.

Hopefully they will be better at delivering to our place than City Link, the local driver doesn't know one road from another plus he is a rude arrogant ******. I hope he had a bo*****g yesterday for delivering an important package to the wrong address.
(sorry rant over)

Boxcar arrived about lunchtime.
