Can anyone tell me what size (enough information to be able to buy some) the LGB screws are that attach the manual point switches (or motors) to LGB track are ?
I know LGB sell packs of screws - but its a mixed pack and as far as I'm aware its in equal quantities, so its a fairly expensive way of buying them, as i have no use for the other screws at the moment. .
I've bought some 2mm screws which seem too small, and 3mm screws which are too big.
Before I try 2.5mm i thought I'd ask in case:
a) someone knows
b) someone's found a supplier...

They are just about the most common size of self tapper screws and are used in most plast items. The same are used in LGB rolling stock. Most car factors or harware shops stock them.

Thanks for the replies so far and I've had another look at what I've got to date and compared them with LGB screws.
I think the important thing here, and in the comment from fundandtrains, is that they are screws whereas I'd bought some 3mm machine bolts (rather than screws) which don't have the self tapping thread.
So, 3mm screws I think it is !

According to Champex Linden http://www.champex-linden.de/index.htm , the LGB screws are either 3mm in various lengths or 2.2mm in various lengths. Champex Linden are a supper supplier with a web site and you can buy stuff directly. The screws are available in packs of 20, the product numbers are CL30310 to CL30316.
