Ok not sure how i have managed to acheive this but......

After its sound upgrade i was checking the list of CV values, now i guess i have accidentley switched from reading to prog.

Any how the result is that the Crok motor sounds now start befor the loco moves and stop after it stops by a few seconds.

I have looked at and read lists of CV's until my eyes hurt and i still carnt figure out how to correct it...:wits::wits::wits::wits::wits:

I guess you don't have a way of saving the CV values in a file when using a Navigator?

I know this won't help you Gordon, but I save my decoder settings to file using MTS PC software before making any changes, so I can recover if I get problems....

I've made a list of CV's befor i sent the chip off and Mark sent me a print out of the CV's on the chip when he sent it back.

But i'm going boss eyed looking at the two lists and then checking them against the Navigator.

I am missing something very, very basic, its as if the sound starts at a lower voltage than the motor, the same in reverse when stopping.

I think i've cracked it......:party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party::party:

Started to re read the CV's again, found CV 63 Thresh/Reg time was at odds with both the value and default, in fact was set to 0,
changed it back to the value on the print out 1, and we appear to be back as it should be...

Proper test as opposed to a 3ft length of track on the kitchen work top, in daylight tomorrow..
