Bit big for TT120!I was rounding down for comedic effect...
The figures are actually about 17mm tall to the top of their tin hats, as the "15mm" description is the nominal height of an average male figure from soles of feet to eye-level - it equates to round about 1/100 scale, or at least close enough for Government work....
See, railway modellers aren't the only ones who can use weird ways of describing scales to totally confuse anyone outside the hobby...

Uh, uh - Captain MainwaringThe ICE man cometh.
I didn't realise the Worsley etch came sans roof - I tried a similar things with my scratchbuilt railbus, but as I wasn't aiming for a specific target, it didn't really fit the bill, so to speakMade a start on the roof, base is a plywood sheet with a smaller piece to locate it underneath, the main roof will be balsa wood, layered with a gap in the middle for lights.

I think most Worsley works etchings are sides and ends, more of a scratch building aid, so chassis, roof etc is down to the builder!I didn't realise the Worsley etch came sans roof - I tried a similar things with my scratchbuilt railbus, but as I wasn't aiming for a specific target, it didn't really fit the bill, so to speak![]()
