I've been using a dressmaker's pin (don't tell HerPrick 'em with the pointy end of a scalpel and spot them on a little bit of solvent weld already on the strap - when you get good, you can do two for each brush of solvent weld
)

Great idea! I had one of those way back,Isetta,BMW powered,never got it on the road though as I sold it first,great fun to get in it!!!!!!Cost me 15 quid,,,,,sold it for considerably more.
Keep everything,never throw anything away,it will always come in for something,good idea and should look the part when painted.

sorted the last few gutter bits I needed , so it's strip down time and paint all the woodwork, it comes apart in three main bits, Roof, Upper Floor and Ground Floor. Don't know yet whether to do it the Dark brown that the end frame is painted in, or do it Black 
the Brown would show all the gutters off better.

There's one angled Ridge tile missing , dropped it and can't find the dam thing anywhere, think the borrows must have nicked it

Yes 2 engines in the kit,the Leyland option went in the bus and the Scania one went in the crate.
