WGLR, the 2010 re-build.

Cheers Bud .

Finished making the pavements today, so that the shops are properly bedded in now (but still removable). The foundations had to be raised to bring everything up to the same height. This was done using the same wood as the pavements which is pressure treated and was left over from when I made my deck (it's the stuff that's used as spacers for the hand-rails). The buildings are still removable for maintenance, they just sort of un-plug from the pavements and little patches of Astroturf.

Needs some street furniture next, some lamposts and a level crossing (no gates) sign. I can get on with surfacing the road next.

Just caught up with your rebuild Mel.
Even better than before.
Glad to see you got yourself a Countess - fits like hand in glove on your line. Brill.

Not actually got it yet Paul, James bought his live steamer for a visit. A cunning plan is in the pipeline though ;).

Cheers Bram.

Apparently Gizzy is having problems accessing the battery control page. Is anyone else experiencing such problems?

Thats because it tries to load as a 'https' page (ie a secure page as used for credit card info pages by banks etc). One of the other pages does the same thing. Normal pages are 'http' ones.

what a good idea Mel
a good project for the dark wet evenings
looking forward to seeing more
nice comment for GSM too

looking good mel! :D

heres a pic for you might like... W&U tramway car no.7 "Irene" on its launch day at NNR last month
Liked those George?

Especially the last picture of the W&U coach, the 4 wheelled teak coack and the M&GN brake van.

Something to inspire Mel I reckon.

His ex Bolton Corp coach could be part of a train just like it, along with his recently resprayed van, if he bashed a Bachmann Annie or Clarabel coach....
