Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway Gala 17th June 2023

The W &LLR were celebrating the 60th Anniversary of its preservation and the first public running of the recently restored Sir Drefaldwyn. This was the first time that I had travelled behind Sir Drealdwyn. I was told that it was in its green undercoat and that it would be restored to black in due course. The Earl was the other loco in steam.

Looks like a good turn out. I've not been there for 20 odd years, and that time, we were unable to afford a trip on it
