The W &LLR were celebrating the 60th Anniversary of its preservation and the first public running of the recently restored Sir Drefaldwyn. This was the first time that I had travelled behind Sir Drealdwyn. I was told that it was in its green undercoat and that it would be restored to black in due course. The Earl was the other loco in steam.
