Water tower

The ones I have bought, both UK & US, have covered tanks. You don't want dead creatures, that fell in, bunging up your water injectors. Max

Anser is some do some do not, a guy I worked with in the 60’s in BR had started his career at Edgware, on a really hot summer him and anither guy went swimming in the large open water tank.They stired up the sediment and the nextvtran with a Tank Engine could nit get a y water out if tye tank because the outlet had been blocked by the sediment, only option till it was sorted was to use a big lumpy Tender Engine that did not need to fill up with water at Edgware. Oh in them days Edgware was served y the former LNER as well as the Underground.
