Title say's it all really..
I have a Mallet with a 'lumpy' motor-block. The fault appears to be a slightly 'out' idler gear.
I DO have some on order, but I have not been informed they have left Europe, to get to the States, to get to me.. (Don't ask!):shake::shake:

It is the bigger white one, NOT the grey one as listed by Marklin/LGB. :(

Thanks
PhilP.

So, no news is, errrrr no news! :(:banghead::banghead:

I have asked for an update on the 'real-soon' order from EU-rope, to the Good 'ol US of A, but no reply from the dealer. - No names, no pack-drill, but was recommended on here.. :(

The loco will go (at the weekend) to someone 'who makes gears', to see if he can titivate the idler into a little more life.
:(

A supplier in the US was recommended to me for this, and some other parts..

An order was placed, and the parts sourced from Europe, to go to the US to come to me.:shake:

Nothing was heard, until about an hour ago, when I was informed the parts had finally been transported to the Good Ol' US of A. - Possibly by a man on a bike, with onions round his neck?
Well, it has taken long enough! :(:nod:

By the 'Magik of Elektrickery', virtual Dollars have passed from my PayPal account to theirs.. Now to see how long it will take coming this way?

Of course, the motion components were not actually needed, but the person concerned did not listen to the person who had them, and the idlers / loco went to another engineer, who worked his Magik on the originals..

So, I will end up with parts I no longer need, and shy $200 I reckon. :(:shake:

C'est la vie! All will be documented, and Daughter No.2 can have the pleasure of EvilBaying the lot, once I shuffle off this mortal coil. :):giggle:
