WANTED - empty case from LGB 65000-series sound unit

Good afternoon

I know that it is common practice, where space is at a premium, to removes the "gubbins" from inside the black plastic case of a 65000-series sound unit before installing it in a loco. But does that mean that any of you (in the UK) has an empty 65000-series case in your "bits box" that you could be persuaded to part with?

I've disassembled an ebay purchase where the sound unit has been taken out of its case . . . but I'd like to reinstate it in another loco where there is plenty of space for the complete casing.

Now I know I have one 'somewhere'..
But,
Have 'bits' in two houses, at the moment.

If anyone else can put their hand on one, then it will be a lot quicker than I can find one..

Hi Dave, had a look in the train shed but it didnt ‘jump out’ at me……..I know there is one somewhere as I would not have thrown it away but it must be over 20 years since I fitted it to my Meyer……….will continue looking,
