Wanted: Aristocraft 6.5 ft diameter curves

A GSS member in Leicestershire requires a few of these curved sections, in euro sleeper spacing, they are part # 11550, and fit neatly inside LGB R3 to make a double track

We are aware of a couple of dealers that have them in stock, also the 'American' tighter sleeper spacing part #20112 which could be a last resort

Just wondered if a forum member has a pile of these sitting doing nothing...

You could also try Piko R3 Malcolm....

Their possible section would be G-R3 35213 Curved track 30°, r = 922 mm (36.28”), priced about the same as Aristo

the Aristo is 6.5ft diameter, the Piko would be 6ft

But some companies measure to the centre line of the track ( Piko ), others to the inside rail ( not sure how Aristo measured theirs )

But an option worth remembering

Aristo measured to centre line, but you have to remember their "feet" were actually 300mm, so nominal 6.5ft (or 6'6") diameter is closer to 6'4".
And their "10 foot" diameter is 9'10", which did cause me a minor oops when I was cutting planks into trackbed for curves: The track was perilously close to the inside edge of the planks (which are two feet above the ground).

Ahhh, the perils of creating in imperial, producing in metric, and then retailing back in imperial!
