Since 2008, I’ve taken many videos of trains on my garden railway. Some which I consider ‘good’, many ‘not great’. Quite a few have been shared/advertised here and on GSM, but I thought maybe the newer members here might like to see some. So I’m putting together a number of videos, trying to keep them less than 10 minutes, which are just snippets from my favourites.

You’ll notice many trains are in the same few locations - there’s only so many places on my layout where I can avoid houses, fences etc in the backgrounds. And I do like to try and get realistic views of the railway only.
So here’s my first offering - some of the steam action on the Sandstone and Termite.

There will be a few more!

Of course, you can find all my videos by searching for ‘sandstonetermite’ on Youtube.

Good as always Greg, lets have some more please;);)

Great compilations - enjoyed viewing. A nice start to my day!

Great sets of clips, Greg. Reminds me of what inspired me to start building my own fleet of locos.

The second in the series of my steam locos

and my mainline diesels and railmotors.
Great as always Greg, love the engineer changing with direction of travel:cool::cool: and a question,,on the RM3 railcar what are the "grilles" up by the headlight for?

Really love those onboard shots as the trains pass through the 'cave', and the 'copter shot (steam video 2).

The complex sound you've created for diesel #19 is brilliant. Even more amazing when you consider how little it cost (not counting construction-time of course)!

The grilles are the water radiators for engine cooling.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Thanks for the info Greg, radiators were the last thing I would have thought of but thinking about it seems very logical;)

Love the driver reversing and the delay between the sound increase and loco movement, great use of Picaxe and servos.
