UP Rotary Snow Plow makes it's first run in 2011

Nice to see your Rotary plow working Jerry :thumbup: My D&RGW OY is awaiting a new motor burnt the old one out hope to get it ready for the next snow we have .
 
Thanks guys, here's a still of it. Second time around the flanger did a nice job clearing off the rest of the snow.

Hats off to you Jerry. A real corker she is. I followed your build back then and it just looks fantastic in operation. That power of motor is just what it needs to actually shift the snow.
Does the chute begin to get bunged up with snow after a while or does the motor have enough power to keep it clear?

Will have to make one of those myself, not sure it will cope with two feet of snow, but should work better than the Aristo plow :)
