My version of the steeple cab, for tramway use, has warning bell fitted along with warning chevrons.

Also in the Chemnitz theme, here are some of the cream trams in use on my tramway. The re-motored ones are converted LGB trailers fitted with modified Bachmann 45 tonner power blocks. Note the conversion to overhead lighting to depict an early tramcar. Alyn

Some of the cream trams plus the "Manner" tram. The close up is the switching I fit to the modified trailers to switch current to the motor from the live overhead, in use on my tramway system. Alyn

As always THANKS for the photos , especially the elec locos , your postings with all the photos and info ,and how-to-do-it projects , always recharges my model trains interest .

Hi, Steve, the Bachmann, ex 45 tonner power blocks, are very controllable, and draw very little current. The whole power block is not stressed at all. Alyn

Hi, Dennis; hope you, and the family are well, trust you have a few trolley projects "on the anvil" Alyn

Now, having a couple of trams, one needs to run them, and trams need tram stops; here are some German tramway stops.

A basic end to end tramway, with two termini, can be built using 5 right hand points, and 1 left hand point. I will draw up a plan, together with an easy cheap overhead; which will be suitable for pantagraph, and bow, current collection. Alyn

While I draw up the track plan, here are some colour pictures;- ideal if kit-bashing or repainting a tram.
