Train shed now in use!

Last summer we had the builders in, making a garage extension at the side of the house.
It must be a garage 'cos it's got a garage door at the front!
However, most of it would be train shed, 4 tracks on a worktop, and shelves above for boxes.
The throat would be through a "train flap" (medium dog flap size), then down a long ramp to join the main circuit.

Well, 2 of the 4 roads are now tested and in use.
Here's the view looking out of the flap -

And here is the 'removable without too much effort' bridge from house to the top of the approach ramp -

Brilliantly engineered Sir

Inspirational:thumbup:.

Once my house extension gets built the OO/HO layout will move indoors and G-Scale will take over the space currently used by the OO/HO layout. Like the idea of the sector plate:thinking:

Ingenious! Love it

ingenious! I take it thats a piece of flex track that you just lift and reposition? what a great idea, it will be less likley to cause derailments than a switch of that complexity...........

Great work Hamish do like your bridge going into the garage is it built from plastic ?

What a cunning plan Hamish, well thought out
