Track straightening

I bought a dozen 4 foot Aristo straights, previously used, all have kinks in the rail, on the horizontal plain, ( best description as I am not an engineer!). Is there a way to straighten these out? I can remove the rail from the sleepers to work on it. Do track benders straighten track as well as curving it? Any experiences and advice would be gratefully appreciated as I would love to use this track.

Yep, you will need a decent/strong/bully vice fitted to a stable worktop! and protude the rail inch by inch.
edit: Dont damage the railhead, feed the rail upside down.

Track benders will straighten/unbend track.

Ettienne's advice will also work. I used a Black and Decker Workmate to re-radius R1 track to R2. Just clamp each rail upto each 'kink' and bend back, a little bit beyond the 'bend'. You'll soon get a knack as to where this is!

On the R1 track, I used the mark where the sleeper was as a guide.

Do this an inch at a time, and you will eventually have straight track again....
