How do I get to the marketplace forum and post if I want to trade or sell?

Use the Private sales area. The Marketplace is not used anymore.

Out of interest, how do you get to the Private Sales Area?

Press Forums at the top of the page. When that opens up, it is right down at the bottom of the options. Select Private Sales, and post your ad.
