Did Steve (back2bay6) not have one that was available for hire??
Muns (a moderator of this forum) proposed having a Massoth track bender to hire, PM him and see if it is available :nerd:

For LGB track you won't beat the Massoth track bender 8105001. 239 Euro's from Massoth worth every penny if you have a lot of bending to do!

Problem with that is the 240euro!
I'm tying to do this lot on a pension!! Would have been a much bigger pension if those thieving ******s of bankers hadn't reduced it to 1/4 of why they promised. Ah well, such is life.

I tried all the manual methods of bending rail including the Uri Geller technique.... Ended up making my own which I unnecessarily made far more complex that it needed to be, but I needed to roll 300mm rad "S" forms for my point work and the commercial ones wouldn't do that.... I don't see why they are so expensive to buy, not a lot in them...
The ebay ones look tres complex, probably designed by the CIA using "Black Box" technology ... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PREMIUM-...ns&hash=item4ac34480e4&_uhb=1#ht_14447wt_1307
Expensive but it has a vernier dial gauge and 2 level bulbs on it, not to mention a solid hickory handle.......
