...and some times animal-itarian ones. Wife called them out one night at about 2300 to rescue an injured cat which had secreted itself in a storm drain and was unreachable (I was overseas of course). They did it promptly, efficiently and cheerfully; at the end when being thanked one of them said "beats attending major MVAs every time, Missus" and I guess I can understand that. Needless to say we've been significant contributors to their fund raisings since.
