Today on the WGLR

May I suggest the aadition of a bar-B-Que to the above suggestions.... This could give heat as well as be the processing plant for the meat for the pork pies...sort of self contained world really.......
Nice plan Mel and as always, knowing you, will look the dog's as well.

Our barbie is portable Mike and can be manouvered wherever required, the new "seating area" being ideal of course.

Also already sorted is a gazeebo tent thing. We've never really had room for one before, but this will enable eating, drinking and running in all weathers. The old power cable that used to be for the pond pump will be converted into a power socket for lighting etc.

All I really need to do now is to buy next-door's garden off him - well he never uses it.

Do you think he'd notice if we moved the fence at the same time as the shed?

You are sneeky as a very sneeky thing Peter.

Just arranged for all the old aviary stuff to be taken away tomorrow morning. Next job will be some ground levelling, then laying slabs for the new shed site, move shed, lay some membrane followed by a load of gravel and Bob's your aunty's husband. The new fence can wait dependant on the weather ....... and me being a whimp.

Well perhaps he would not notice if you sort of...well..... just 'spread' into it!

I had a house where the next door was empty for over three years. There was only a scrappy 2 foot high chain fence which suddenly "fell apart' For those three or so years we had a flower and pleasure garden with a vegetable one next door! Shame I wasn't into railways in those long lost days :(

I finally got my posh new Paasche airbrush working yesterday, so I decided that the Davenport would be the guinea pig to give it a test. Even by my standards it's a pretty heavy weathering job (although the photo makes it look worse, there is more of the original green showing than it looks), but I wanted to try a few different features of the new 'brush.

As we're now out of summer time, I thought I'd take advantage of what light we have left to give the little diesel a run with the ballast hoppers that stay out all year long for any quick running sesh's.

A great industrial feel to the loco and stock Mel.

I wondered - what size is the battery pack ?

Voltage
AA or sub C
Mah
10 x Nimh 1.2 volt rechargeable AA's. I've got two battery RC wagons both with the same size battery packs and all my 4 coupled locos run off them (not at the same time  ).

Cheers mate - I'm planning on converting SWMBO's C****** present to battery after the fat red man has delivered it. I'm told that the Bachmann 45t is quite easy to convert, but I'm thinking of going 14.4v subC (go LARGE :bigsmile::bigsmile: )
Well, you have to remember that the Fn3 caboose is brass, and tips the scales a bit :rolf:

I'm planning a couple more battery conversions possibly using the Li-Ons that Peter (Whatlep) uses, but once again with the Cliff Barker RC kit. Cliff does really good prices on the Nimh's BTW.
