I picked up one of Stocker's Pendlebury lineside buildings from Stoneleigh. It went together really well, although it did need a little bit of filler around where the roof joins the top of the walls. It's nicely detailed having been built from old sleepers (you can actually see evidence of the bolt holes for the rail chairs in some of them). I could get the cream to look a little smarter if I gave it another coat, but this hut will be for the crew working on the standard / narrow gauge interchange siding, so I didn't want it look too posh.
The figures were from Jon's Models. They were the one thing I really splashed out on being a bit steep at £8.99 each, but I was very impressed with them, especially the standard of painting. They're a bit on the big side as they're probably aimed at the 16mm guys and are about 1/19th - 1/20th scale, but they'll look OK in isolation.
I'm looking forward to "planting" the hut next to the sidings, but that will have to wait until my back injury gets better.
