A second battery RC set from Cliff Barker arrived yesterday, so it needed testing today - two trains under independant control running at once on the WGLR for the first time. Not very prototypical, but good fun
.
The tramway diesel ran with the new battery set in the little WGLR van which has a cardboard body on an LGB feldbahn chassis.
Meanwhile, the steam tram ran with the original battery set in the passenger baggage van.
As Cliff also sent me a stock of connecting leads, I also converted Hunslet No.2 to battery control. She's been fitted with those spectacle rings you sent me Steve
.
Also temporarily put the new lytch gate for St. Marks church in place. Still a fair amount of work to do in this area - including actually fitting some gates
