Made the most of the nice weather testing. Fitted mesh to the burner on my Ragleth, it's made a huge difference to burner noise and would recomend the mod to Accucraft loco's.

On the down side have got a steam blockage on my leader and to make it worse it's the short soldered pipe on the valve block, so it looks like a new unit :@

Made an early start this morning, quite chilly so all the better for steam shots.

Looking good Steve.

How's the 'Leader', in bits yet?? :)

Ade the Leader is quite poorly :( Got a blocked steam pipe and it's the short pipe going into the valve block. Cant get at it to clean so it looks like a new unit is required when they come back in stock.

On the plus side Im now an expert on stripping Leader's :)

Dry morning so a spot of testing:)
The recently rebuilt/painted Leader and the new tram were given a good run and load test.
The Leader is like a new engine now with no sign of the chronic asthma it suffered before the new valve block was fitted.

Quick test run of the new diesel N0.4
Ran very sweetly and control is excellent via the Timpdon speed controller.

First full session of the year bit chilly but nice to be out in the sun.

First chance to run the full roster of AJR loco's and winter rolling stock builds.

Nice, and nice to see sum sp. some English sun :)

 In the true spirit of Colonial friendship, I think it is about time we started to send some of our over abundant sunshine back to the home countries.... it is, afterall, the start of Autumn today (but you wouldn't think it).
