Another fine running day has been completed:-

A busy Priory Station.
Swithland with the Manx stock arriving at Priory Station.

Jack about to join the mainline at St Bernards Junction.

No running at the CFR today due to the heavy rain. However a private running session was held during the week:-

Queen of the Hills about to depart Priory Station.
Oggiwalla arrives at Priory Station.
Michael attends to his locomotive.

Two of my friends and I spent the morning clearing weeds, bushes and other detritus from the railway. Rain finally put an end to the work at lunchtime:-

The old engine sheds were removed from St Bernards Depot and replaced by two ModelTown sheds.

The industrial area is less crowded.

The tracks at Priory South bend has been relaid and the remains of the over bridge removed:-

Priory Exchange Station situated to the left of the picture will need to be remodelled.

2022, the start of another year at the CFR. In fact the CFR has now been in existence for over 22 years. Today we had a change of motive power:-

CD pushing a tumbrel wagon up the shed incline.

For some reason that locomotive is bringing to mind the Darjeeling Himalaya and I can't figure out why.

It is not often that we have an Accucraft steam locomotive at the CFR but to have two is a rarity:-

Cranmore Peckett . Both picked up from the Doncaster show yesterday by members of the CFR(NOT ME).

The figures are manufactured by a company called DiD Corp, they are based in Hong Kong. The figures are multi poseable and are 1/12th scale. They are also very expensive, however I have other usages for them besides the railway.
