There are occasional discussions as to whether Thomas is an asset to G scale.

I confess that I am one who has never really seen the point of G scale Thomas..............

..................until I saw this smashing video

Happy new year

Hi, Thanks for the great post. We have such fun with these Bachmann Large Scale Thomas locos and trucks which we have left out in the snow, dumped in water and crashed off bridges and viaducts. The whole family just love playing with them in the garden and making these little videos. We also love our live steamers but we need to be more careful when we run those with little ones about. Thanks again and hope you join us again in 2015!

A super little film thanks for sharing with us :D Happy New Year to you and yours too!

Your video's are awesome, love it.
Hi Paul, Thanks so much and glad you liked our two snowy videos. It's sometime since we filmed these but with no snow on Pine Tree Junction for many months it seemed fun to put these two videos together for 2015! We will be out again in the garden if it snows again soon!

Hi Garry, Thanks for the post and glad you liked our little snowy showreel. It's sometime since we filmed these videos but as it's the season for 'repeats' so why not share them again. Hope you follow us for the rest of 2015!

Thanks for that video, you have inspired me to change from '00' and N-Gage too G-Scale by watching your other videos...... ;)
I have over Christmas built a double oval layout in my loft incorporating about 45ft of track so far with Percy and his trucks plus the Thomas Christmas Delivery set with James and Emily plus coaches......
I am also getting LGB locos and rolling stock plus more Thomas rolling stock, I have to say you awakened something in me I did not realise....... FUN with my modelling O0

Thank you and Happy New Year.

I Look forward to more videos and indeed inspiration from yourselves and indeed this forum... The most friendly Forum I have been lucky enough to be part of....

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.

Wow! What a wonderful message and thank you so very much. We are thrilled that our little videos have inspired you try large scale railroading. We have an 00 layout as well but our G Scale trains in the garden give us the most fun. Our 00 layout is great for those wet days when we can't play outside! I'm sure you will have many happy hours running Thomas and his friends on your railway. Do have a look at our good friends railway over in the USA. They have the same good fun approach to Pine Tree Junction and even featured us in one of their videos. Here is their link.

Have a great time running your trains and hope you visit Pine Tree Junction again soon.

PS We totally agree that this Forum is just fantastic! Happy New Year!!!

Great stuff. Great dedication in the snow :D

Hi John, Thanks for the post and glad you liked our snowy videos. These were made some time ago as it hasn't been snowing on Pine Tree Junction now for many months. It was great fun to get out in the garden and film these. We left Thomas and Percy out overnight so they were covered in snow. We had to use one of our Roundhouse live steamers to push the snow out of the way and even the snow plough truck had to have heavy metal bars under the coal load to keep it on the track. All the shots had to be on one side of the track so you couldn't see the big foot prints in the snow. I'm sure we shall be out again in the garden when it snows again. It's raining now so no filming today!
