Hi Folks,

Things have been busy on Pine Tree Junction this weekend after the arrival of Bachmann’s four new Box Vans. They really look the part and will provide lots of ideas for future Thomas stories. Here are the first two videos. One with just photos of the vans and another with a little story. Hope you like them!

Thanks for the two excellent videos.

The new rolling stock certainly looks the part, but it's a shame that (on the basis of the guards van) they are oversize for the Playmobil locos and rolling stock I have as I would really like the occasional UK style box van.

The story video is superb with some excellent camera angles and shots, making it much more than just a trip to find the trucks and then take them to the docks.

Many thanks, again.

The vans look great - and that traction engine is a bobby dazzler too!

There has been some criticism of the Thomas range from Bachmann, but when you see it like that - hook, line and sinker - it's stunning :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

What's the logo on the dark green box van?

Hi, Thanks for the great comment and so glad you liked our latest little Thomas video. We have so much fun making these!!!

The Bachmann Large Scale green Box Van has a 'Sodor Fruit & Vegetable Co' logo. Hope this helps.

Hi, Thanks for the great comment. Our traction engine was made by David Mercer here in the UK. She is truly magnificent and runs really well. If you fill her up with rain water, gas and steam oil she will chuff around the garden and run our saw mill. She is only a small engine so won't run for long before you need to refill the boiler, gas tank and steam oil. She is great fun to run and also looks fantastic on our layout. Look for D.R.Mercer steam engines on the net and will will find out more about her.

Great. I will certainly have to get some for the SVR.

Now that would call for another joint video Mr Edwards! Eight box cars being pulled by Thomas and his friends!

Excellent videos as usual. Well done.
Hi Paul, Thanks so much for the comment. If you haven't seen these yet they would look fantastic on the CFR. Some more stuff for the shed! Take care!

Hi, Thanks for the great post and so glad you liked our little videos. We have such fun making these it's great when folks enjoy watching. I wouldn't be too worried about the size of the Box Vans. They look fine with our Playmobil train and the other stuff. The Bachmann brake van is a little short on the height side but for our videos it doesn't really matter. After all, we only do stuff for fun! Take care!
