That sounds great Gareth the Oldy Worldy cottage with work shop and garden wish you all the best with it on Tuesday .3Valve said:Hey Richie,
Yes mate still looking to remain in the Madeley area if possible (cos it's like Posh Telford), but also looking in Newport.
Interested in a place about 1/2 mile from the current house. Oldy worldy cottage with a large brick built workshop and a huuuuuge garden.
There have been a couple of silly offers made by another couple (both rejected), I'm hoping to get a sensible offer in on Tuesday, then we'll see how it goes from there.![]()

Nice railway, but oh the bending down. If you move, may I suggest a height of AT least 2ft 6in or more if SWMBO will let you. Yes harder work to start with, but in the long term.... When I made the move to Luton back in 1987, the thing that sold the house to me was the dip with a wall just 3ft high 100ft down. Had a terminal station built there within 3 weeks of moving in. Then just used LGB on the lawn as the Railway moved up towards the house via a spiral to gain height. That with an operating pit allowed the 2ft 6in at the 3 Stations. I did have a station en route at about 1 ft heigh. But it never got used much. That line is now sadly closed.
