The Seaport and Beachtown Coastal Railway on tour

It was the second annual Playmobil exhibition at Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, this weekend and I was asked to provide a coastal railway layout. It wasn't quite as originally envisaged, but when you actually see the empty boards it's not quite the same as drawing things on paper! Time caused some plans for buildings to be abandoned, for example.

The lefthand board was 6' by 8', the run along the back between the two end boards was 16' and the righthand board was 8' by 8'. The gymkhana and the farm layouts were provided by a friend. The railway buildings are customs.

I'll post some more videos later this week which will show some detail of the layout, plus some stills. Meanwhile, here are a couple showing CROMWELL on the passenger stock and NASEBY running a mixed goods.

Hope you enjoy them, and apologies for the poor quality in places. The camera is a 9 year old 3mps still camera and I don't use the video option much.
