the italian job (april update)

Hello,
All these posts about 3D printing are very interesting.
I have a Creality 3D printer myself that prints thin layers on a moving flat surface.
I notice that people here often use a different type of printer, where the model is suspended from a flat plate in a resin bath.
My question is: if you don’t have a resin bath printer, how can you still get good results with a flat-bed 3D printer?

no much time to work at layout, so just a little upgrade with a shot

I don't know how I missed this thread. But browsing through it just now I must say that your modeling talent is first class. I like how you took one aspect of the transit world and modeled it in excellent detail.

You can't, unless you get a printer from the brand BambuLab; I’m thinking of getting one to use alongside my Elegoo (resin) printer...

A friend of mine has a Bambu, and for some jobs it is ALMOST as good as a resin printer - no filament printer can match the detail level that is possible with the resin ones, but then they are designed for very different jobs - filament for relatively inexpensive large prints, resin for highly detailed smaller items.

100% agree
