Its an interesting conumdrum James, for me the sound of the railway as it is naturally is really relaxing. Whilst there are some really good sound systems around to my ears they only sound good when they are starting up or coming to a halt. The rest of the time they sound as relaxing as listening to the washing machine on its spin cycle . Live steam can sound better but is also not realistic. This being an example, but I do not know how much effort would be required to obtain such a result.
