As I'm sitting here at home with a monster of a migraine but happy to be full of vicadine I thought I would post a whole load of my railway pic's! So any complaint's talk to my Doc....................................

I shall start with early stuff and work my way foward....
note the lack of support for the track in that last picture!!

Here is the original shed and tracklaying in progress. As you can see we landscaped and planted at the same time as laying track, it can be a bit difficult working around trees and plant's but you get a much better idea of what it will look like before you go too far........

it didn't take the dogs long to discover the joys of railway buiding/burial so a fence was hastily constructed!! The bridges were made at work and powder coated. all the bridges have been out for 7or 8 years now with zero maintainance and are still fine............

inside the shed..............tin top shed 130f in the summer...........freezing in the winter.

I think you should start running trains as soon as you can when building as it keeps the juices flowing...................

Lot's of green is never to much...........

Now the track is in and ballested we can start on all the detail stuff............

I started by planting anything small I could find on any bare patches to see what would survive!

Most of the buildings are Pola plastic blended in to the surroundings, they stay out year round with the occasional hose down when I take pictures.

And talking about widlife.......................

Unfortunatly the dogs don't always stay on the outside although to be fair it's alway's when I forget to shut the gate...............................And anyway I always wanted to change that bit.........for the 3rd time..............

Of course they make great guard dogs.............................................

Now for just some random shots that I like..........

You've done a great job on your layout, Paul. Thanks for posting all of the pictures. It looks like it gets a little 'wild' there sometimes. And you must get a few visits from politicians since there was so much mud slinging. You have some long consists, too. The handcar and trailer on the bridge is a nice touch. Too bad you don't live closer. I would have a place to run my 'stuff'.

Paul's got the best dogs on the forum.
Railways not bad as well

Hi Paul
As always your layout is the dog's b*******....literally.
Lovely to see more of the construction too. The track-side farm scene is just so goooood.

I thought that i had problems with marauding beasts but your mud shutes just make me feel like a right winger!

Nice railway Paul, I like the way you have the track ballasted.. and those last few scenic pictures are beautiful,
